A forgotten future

A forgotten future

An envelope of resonating silence,
Talking to me about you,
I listen intently,
Each word stirring up déjà vu,
Essence of an elegy, an eloquent reticence.

A deluge of convergent pulsating touches
And a rueful embrace of time.
I feel it, all around.
An algid, sweltering inclemency
Touching me like u would, a mesmeric incalescence.

A flagrant darkness devoid of delusions
Illuminating memorized moments
I admire them, again.
Each emblazoned with derisive incandescence
Yet I close my eyes reprieving my wet tribulations

A demurely iridescent motley fresco
Enlivening my pristine cognizance
I paint it, white.
Bloody undertone, a risqué hue
I blush and burn, enamored of an effaced distortion

Atypical quiescent dreams, smiles & mute screams,
An eternity of pruned hope, devoid of your flavor
I give u, everything.
A rhyme for the time you loved me.
It’s not an incarnated broken heart but a reconnaissance of my soul
